Our Development
We continue to strive, adapt and develop from our orchards to our packing facility by investing in new varieties, high density growing techniques and weather protection. Our produce is handled by an array of automated technology in cold and controlled atmosphere storage, sorting and packing systems, providing Australian and International customers quality produce, within specification.
Our Advances
In 2004, Radevski Coolstores laid the foundation for its newly designed state-of-the-art Pome fruit industry specific cold storage and packing facility.
Recent investment and installation in apple and pear pre-sizing, grading, sorting and automated packing have assisted our production team to enhance our customer produce offerings as well as provide packaged produce lines generic to wholesale and supermarket specifications.
We continue to research the latest technology and techniques to adapt into our pre and post-harvest processes.
Our recent transition to software to determine the respiratory rates in apples and pears using Dynamic Controlled Atmosphere storage technology has reduced our reliance on post-harvest chemical treatments of produce, thereby having a major impact on reducing our total business carbon footprint.
